Venues & Getting There
XR:WA venues across Perth and Fremantle will host a variety of exciting events from July 6 to July 14, 2019. XR:WA is designed to not only highlight the great depth and breadth of work locally but also some of the spaces occupied by some of these practitioners. In so doing, we are hoping this will facilitate collaborations and satellite programs so as to develop a critical mass of self-generated activity that can be housed under the XR:WA banner.
As a result, the event is positioned across Perth and Fremantle with a range of activities aimed at both the community and professional sector. This includes:
Pan Pacific Hotel

Pan Pacific is located on major bus routes along Adelaide Terrace, a short walking distance from the free Red Cat Bus Route. It is a 15 minute walk from either Elizabeth Quay bus station or perth Central Bus Station. Parking is available at the venue or ample street parking on weekends.

For delegate a bus will leave the Pan Pacific Hotel at 5pm on July 11th.
The bus station at the Bentley campus is one of the busiest in Perth, with seven different services stopping frequently during semester. The circle route, which runs between Perth’s universities, train stations and shopping centres, stops every 15 minutes between 6.30am and 6pm on weekdays. Some buses connect with train services that run to the outer metropolitan area.

Mandurah Train Line
The Perth-Mandurah train stops at the Canning Bridge train station where Transperth bus routes 100 and 101run from stand 3 to Curtin. The routes run every seven to eight minutes during peak times, but please be aware that not all train services from Mandurah stop at Canning Bridge.
Armadale Train Line
The Perth-Armadale train stops at Oats St train station where Transperth bus route 998 runs to stand 1 at Curtin. Route 999 runs in the opposite direction, from Curtin to Oats St station. All trains service Oats St Station.
Cycling to Campus
Riding your bike to campus is a great way to stay fit and have fun. It can also save you money and help save the environment.
The main campus has fantastic facilities for cyclists, including bike pods with swipe card access, electric bike chargers, lockers and showers.
The Bentley campus is about 15 minutes by car from the Perth city centre, which can increase to approximately 25 minutes during peak hour.
