Unknown Pleasures: Immersive Tech in Care (Panel)
The extraordinary leaps and bounds of immersive technology and applications is finding its way into almost every element of industrial and health use. One of the most exciting and innovative is the way in which the technology is being used in areas of health and healthcare – and WA is leading the way in many of these areas.
From re-imagining what an X-Ray can be and be capable of, to working across our ageing population and in palliative care, the uses of immersive technology run deep and can have a proud impact on the way we approach education, training and treatment in health care.
Our panel of experts will dive deeply into the state of play in this environment and explore the way in which this technology and above all these ideas can reach users in ways that can transform their worlds and the precious moments that can make a real difference.
