Reinventing Inventions (Panel)
Technology evolves and works in mysterious ways. Where software and hardware may be developed for a particular purpose, others may choose to push them to their limit and beyond or repurpose and reshape them to fulfill functions not imagined by their developers.
The prime example here of course is the internet itself. Game engines likewise are used as the basis in systems for self-driving cars, AI surveillance systems, scientific research and modelling and a myriad of applications outside of their original intent.
This panel made up of technological shape-shifters and innovators from science, games and government, lay bare their approaches and uses that move well beyond original designs to create new and exciting creative, business and technological directions.
Panel: Reinventing Inventions
